CRAFTSMAN, Amana Furniture & Clock Shop
Dan inherited his love for woodworking from his grandfather and was inspired by his high school shop classes to join the Amana Furniture Shop in 1980.
Dan remembers the overwhelming feeling of his first wood project, the now retired Amana Hahn Clocks. Ray Berger, his mentor taught him no matter how big, tackle each project one piece at a time.
Today, Dan’s passion is building more non-traditional pieces, creating truly one-of-a-kind tables from slabs harvested in the local Amana forests.
Dan shares his love of timber and the outdoors with his wife Angela, and two daughters, often traveling to national parks.
